Customized SS 316L sintered powder filter cartridges for Philippine clients

In the industrial filtration sector, customized products are often the key to addressing special operating conditions. Recently, our factory successfully completed a customized order for SS316L sintered powder filter cartridges for a Philippine client, demonstrating its professional expertise by meticulously interpreting the drawings and rigorously controlling every detail, thereby embodying the core value of “customized solutions.”

Customer Requirements:

The Philippine customer operates in the chemical fluid processing industry. Due to the presence of corrosive media in the production environment, the filter cartridges must meet extremely high corrosion resistance requirements. After multiple rounds of communication, the customer specifically designated the use of SS316L material for sintering. This material's advantages in acid and alkali resistance, high-temperature resistance, and other performance aspects perfectly align with the customer's complex working environment.

In addition to material requirements, the customer provided detailed dimensional parameters: the filter element precision must reach 20um to effectively intercept microscopic impurities in the fluid; the tube diameter is set to 60mm to match the installation space of existing equipment; the total length including end caps is strictly controlled at 254mm to ensure precise integration with the system.

Customization Details: 

Among all customization requirements, the processing of the 226 connector was the focus and challenge of this order. The customer's drawings specified unique dimensions for the connector interface. Ivyuan's technical team first conducted a 3D modeling analysis of the drawings to ensure the accuracy of every data point.

Considering the importance of sealing performance, the joint uses a flat-rate EPDM seal ring. EPDM material offers excellent aging resistance and sealing performance, maintaining stable sealing effects over the long term to prevent production accidents caused by fluid leakage.

Notably, the customer required the thickness of the two lock plates to be 3.7mm and the length to be 26mm. This non-standard dimension posed a stringent challenge to processing precision. we utilized precision CNC machine tools for processing, with each lock plate undergoing three dimensional inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy within 0.02mm, perfectly meeting the customer's assembly requirements.

Quality Delivery: 

After production, we conducted comprehensive performance testing on this batch of filter cartridges: filtration efficiency testing using 20um standard particles to ensure filtration precision compliance; pressure testing at 1.5MPa for 30 minutes with no leakage; and corrosion resistance testing simulating the customer's working environment for 72 hours, with the filter cartridges maintaining stable performance.

When this batch of custom-made filter cartridges arrived at the Philippine customer's factory, on-site installation and commissioning were successful on the first attempt, with 100% compatibility between the filter cartridges and the equipment. The customer's procurement manager stated after acceptance: “ou attention to detail exceeded our expectations, giving us confidence in future collaborations.”
